THE STAR-SPANGLED GIRL by NEIL SIMON

August 22nd - 31st at 8:00 pm
Cutting Hall, 150 East Wood Street in Palatine

The Hidden Talent Theatre Company returns to historic Cutting Hall to produce the Neil Simon favorite, Star Spangled Girl, as the first play of its 2008-2009 Season. Directed by Laura Knoerr, Hidden Talent Artistic Director, the play will run from Friday August 22nd thru August 31st. Enjoy a laugh with your family and friends as we witness first hand how modern politics can wreak havoc in an otherwise classic example of the love triangle!

The cast includes Geoffrey Maher of Palatine, Dana Peters of Hoffman Estates, and Hidden Talent Executive Director, Jim Gattone from Lake in the Hills. Geoff has performed on various stages in the Chicagoland area including Attic Playhouse, Round Lake Theatre, Theatre in the Woods, VTP, and Stage 48. Trained at Northwestern University, Dana Peters has performed on stage at Carthage College and Schaumburg High School. We are very excited to have these fine actors join the Hidden Talent Theatre company and contribute to what is going to be a great third season!

Tickets for The Star-Spangled Girl and the 2008-2009 season will go on sale at the end of July. Stay tuned!
